During the walk you will see interesting well-known and not so well-known places of Amsterdam. You will also hear about the history of the city.

Cycling

Please first consider the following: cycling in Amsterdam can be fun. You are able to see a lot and you become a real part of the city. Besides that, the city of Amsterdam has made a lot of effort to make cycling in Amsterdam easy and safe, such as constructing 400 kilometers of cycle paths within its city limits. But of course it’s not the same as cycling in the countryside.
Amsterdam is crowded, there are trams, local cyclists ignoring red traffic lights and foreign tourists accidently stepping on to the cycle paths all the time!
If you are a bit nervous or anxious about the cycling it might be better not to attempt it.
But if you watch out and take care cycling will be a wonderful way to see Amsterdam !
